Hugh is a lawyer with Willis Law in Edmonton.

Hugh was awarded a Distinguished Service Award at the CCI National conference in Kingston, ON in November 2022 in recognition of his volunteer efforts for the condominium industry. His volunteer efforts includes regular participation in stakeholder sessions with the Government of Alberta on the Condominium Property Act and other legislation affecting condominium owners. He is also a frequent speaker at condominium education events and is a mentor for the Law Society of Alberta for lawyers with condominium law questions.

More recently, he was selected by his peers to be included in the Best Lawyer magazine for the area of corporate and commercial litigation.
