Tara is a facility assessment consultant with Morrison Hershfield in Calgary, Alberta and a board member on the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) South Alberta Chapter. Tara began her career in 2005 as a building restoration consultant where she was involved with building component condition evaluations, preparing specifications and tendering work to contractors for building repairs, and providing construction review and contract administration services for building restoration projects. Tara’s current focus and expertise is in completing building condition assessments, including life cycle assessments for all facility types (for capital planning and real estate transaction purposes), and reserve fund studies and technical audits for condominiums. She has provided facility assessment services for hundreds of properties across Canada.

Licensed since 1995, Andrew began his career selling homes and then moved into property management founding Prairie Management and Realty in 2003. A past president of CCI Southern Alberta, Andrew sat on several Service Alberta panels during the recent updates to the Condominium Property Act. Andrew enjoys sharing his condominium experiences through teaching seminars and courses for CCI and recently delivered CCI Southern Alberta's first live webinar course. Andrew’s company presided over $18 million of condominium rebuilds/remediation after the Southern Alberta floods of 2013.

Doug has a long history with the condominium industry, including sales, working with developers and condominium managers. In his 25 years of regulatory experience he has dealt with issues between condominium management companies, between condominium managers and condominium corporations and also condominium managers/corporations and unit owners. Doug is also a condominium owner and serves on the corporation’s board. Doug has worked in various roles in the real estate industry for over 40 years. Prior to his real estate career, he was a Navigation Officer in the CAF.

Educated in New Brunswick, Ryan joined Calgary’s Building Science & Restoration Team in 2008. Ryan became a Professional Engineer (AB) in early 2013 and was promoted to Project Engineer in 2014.
Ryan is responsible for a wide variety of projects and services including the assessment and rehabilitation of structural elements, building envelope, roofs, post-tensioned systems, fall protection and parkades. Ryan currently manages Calgary’s portfolio of reserve fund studies and is a member of the Structural Restoration Liaison Group. He serves on the Board of Directors for the South Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) and is an active member of the Alberta Building Envelope Council and the Alberta Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.

Ryan has proven himself to be a strong leader and shares his commitment towards his work and overall success of the firm by continuously sharing information, industry insights and trends with colleagues and other teams across RJC. He embraces his mentorship role and actively provides support to junior staff under his direction.

Kate’s legal practice focuses on professional negligence matters, condominium law and personal injury matters, including
social and commercial host liability. She has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta, including the Alberta Court of Appeal
and been involved in an Application for Leave to Appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
Kate was born and raised in Calgary, and started to work for Scott Venturo Rudakoff LLP (formerly Scott Venturo LLP and Scott
Hall LLP) in 2003, while taking her undergraduate degree in History at the University of Victoria; whilst an undergraduate she
also worked at a small law firm in Victoria. After working at Scott Venturo Rudakoff LLP full time, she went to England to study
at the College of Law at Braboeuf Manor, Guildford, and was awarded her Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2011. Kate was awarded
the Pennington’s Michael Fellingham Memorial Prize for best student in Private Client and the Surrey Resolution Surrey Law
Prize for best student in Family Law.

Dionne was born and raised in Calgary and prior to entering law school, received her BSc in Psychology (Honours) from the
University of Calgary. She attended law school at the University of Victoria where she was awarded her JD degree in 2007.
Dionne also holds a certificate in International Business Law from Queens University and has completed a program in
International Property Law at Oxford University in England.
After graduating from law school, Dionne articled and practiced at a prominent Calgary law firm primarily in the areas of
construction, condominium and real estate. Dionne joined Scott Venturo Rudakoff LLP in 2016 where she maintains a practice
that focuses on real estate, condominium and development law. She regularly represents sellers, purchasers, banks and
developers in acquisitions, sales and refinances of personal, commercial and investment property.
