Not all AMP’s work. On their asset management journey, communities can sometimes stumble with implementation, politics often sticks its fingers in the process and there are epic fails and growing pains all around. Most AM professionals have to cut procurement red tape and manage public apathy (and anger) at the same time. We can learn from our mistakes and should take important lessons away from some of the wrong-way stories and unexpected challenges of asset management in Canada.
