Duane Nicol is Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Selkirk. He has an honours degree in Political Science from the University of Manitoba, an honours certificate in business analysis from Red River College and a Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning from the IPWEA. Prior to his hiring, he served three terms on Selkirk Council. Duane has a passion for modernizing municipal government through building the skills and capacity of municipal employees, engineering citizen-focused and lean processes, and the judicious introduction of life-simplifying technology. He is the Chair of the Association of Manitoba Municipalities Asset Management Leadership Committee and is Chair of Asset Management Canada.
