Human Rights - Age Restriction

Presentation Overview:
In January 2017, the Court of Queens Bench ordered “age” be read in as a prohibited ground of discrimination under the Alberta Human Rights Legislation.  The Government of Alberta was given one (1) year to deal with the “unintended consequences” of this decision.  Condominiums and their age restrictions are one of the “unintended consequences”.
