CPRS Calgary invites you to help celebrate 60 years of public relations by joining us for a special movie night.

The goal for celebrating CPRS Calgary’s 60th Anniversary, is to give back to the Calgary community. That’s one of the reasons we’re hosting our 60th Anniversary Movie Night at the theatre in Amica Britannia – Senior Living in Calgary. To say thanks for the space for this event, CPRS Calgary will make a donation to Amica Britannia.

Join your peers to watch The Queen and analyze the public relations and crisis communications strategy behind the death of Princess Diana – a tragedy that shook Britain and the world. A facilitated session hosted by MRU Faculty of Communications and Public Relations will be held after the video to discuss the role that communications professionals play in the world of crisis communications, and specifically how crisis communications was handled during Princess Diana’s death. Feel free to sport your favourite fascinator or top hat in true British fashion!

The first 18 people to register will reserve Amica’s comfy reclining movie seats, so don’t wait to register! Light snacks provided.
