Andy Whittaker’s experience includes more than 20 years in asset management with the utilities and oil and gas sectors in the UK. Prior to joining Jacobs in 2010, he was responsible for establishing AM teams and processes, and creating asset strategies and investment plans for a range of water and rail companies. He has brought his considerable expertise in asset risk management and risk based investment planning to Jacobs’ AM practice, working closely with municipalities across Canada to assess and address their evolving infrastructure needs. Andy believes that successful AM is based on good decision making, which requires the right people, reliable information, and effective processes. His solid grounding in analytical techniques is complemented by his strong facilitation and communication skills and backed up with experience in organizational design, business process modelling, triple bottom line, group decision making, and change management.
