The Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tool is a simple, practical methodology that an organization can use to solve problems. In an operational environment, RCAs are used to address both acute and chronic events to optimize performance. This interactive workshop will teach the participants the principles of framing a problem or improvement opportunity, carrying out a root causes analysis to identify the root cause and put corrective actions in place. The participants will then work in small groups to step through a simple, practical example to reinforce how to apply the tool.
