Fredericton, the capital of New Brunswick, is often known for being an active community, and similar to most Canadian municipalities, the services and demand for infrastructure continue to rise while the communities willingness-to-pay remains static. Residents have several options for outdoor activities, that are reliant on the cities urban trees, parks, sports fields and extensive trail network. With an ageing population of nearly 60,000 and being home to several universities and colleges, Fredericton must consider levels of service and demand for their infrastructure based on a variety of users and demographics each with unique sets of expectations.
