Condo Boards are increasingly facing the need to implement Electric Vehicle charging in their parkades.  Southern Alberta has a bit of an advantage over some other markets since adoption has been slower.  That allows us to benefit from the latest technology, and from lessons learned in other regions.  This presentation will highlight the things that Condo Boards need to consider with respect to policy and electrical capacity.  The discussion will speak to fairness for both EV owners and Non-EV owners and highlight how to avoid some of the potential operating costs that have historically been overlooked.  Most importantly, the presentation will highlight that implementing EV charging in existing buildings is not as difficult or as expensive as it might seem.
