Doug Dixon is a Real Estate Regulatory Compliance Advisor for RECA and was the staff coordinator providing support to the Condominium Manager Implementation Advisory Committee. Doug has a long history with the condominium industry, including sales, working with developers and condominium managers. In his 25 years of regulatory experience he has dealt with issues between condominium management companies, between condominium managers and condominium corporations and also condominium managers/corporations and unit owners. Doug is also a condominium owner and serves on the corporation’s board. Doug has worked in various roles in the real estate industry for over 40 years. Prior to his real estate career he was a Navigation Officer in the Canadian Air Force.
For over twenty-five years, Stephen has been highly involved in condominiums, being at different times a tenant, an owner, a landlord, a board member, a court-appointed administrator, a non-profit condominium leader, a legislative petitioner, and a commercial supplier of condominium services.
He operates two companies – CondoPapers, which works with management companies to automate the delivery of documents legislated by the Alberta Condominium Act and Regulations; and 24|7Condo, which does alternative dispute resolution and court-appointed administration for condominiums.
