development, to “barely blended”, duplex, mixed use, and rural developments,
including foreign ownership requirements. Erin has successfully litigated various
matters on behalf of condominium corporations, unit owners and property
management companies alike, including a precedent-setting decision on short-term
rentals in Alberta.


She has been a condo owner in downtown Edmonton since 2005. Additionally,
she has served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, Secretary and Chair of
the Bylaw Review Committee, which gives her unique insight and invaluable
knowledge and experience that she brings to her clients. She has assisted
condominium corporations, developers, property managers, boards, owners
and tenants in creating and maintaining vibrant, fair and law-abiding
condominium communities all across Alberta.

Niall’s practice includes all aspects of commercial, retail and residential property, including purchases, sales and leasing of property. He also has extensive experience with a proven track record in providing advice on condominium and multi-unit developments to condominium management boards and developers on a variety of residential and commercial condominium issues including bylaw reviews, collection of condominium fees, charge-backs, liens, caveats, privacy and security policies, Land Titles Office registrations, property management and contractual agreement reviews.

 

Maria Bartolotti, LCCI, ACCI, FCCI, Owner

Maria Bartolotti was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, a city she loves to call home with her adorable dog, Dexter. Maria started her career as a Condominium Property Manager back in 2001 and has remained actively involved in the Condominium Community for about 19 years. In 2005 she took a leap of faith and started her own Condominium Management firm, New Concept Management Inc. which has achieved great success. 

Maria completed studies in Business Law, Management, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, including various courses and certificates in Property Management, through the Real Estate Council of Alberta and the Canadian Condominium Institute–Southern Alberta to name a couple. In 2014, Maria received her Associate of the Canadian Condominium Institute, along with being awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Canadian Condominium Institute Designation.

Maria is passionately involved with the Canadian Condominium Institute–Southern Alberta Chapter as the Chair of the Education Committee and member of the Board of Directors. She loves to bring awareness and education to the Condominium industry through educational speaking engagements, writing educational articles on condo industry wide topics and educating her team at New Concept Management and the Condominium Corporations.
