PAT KNOLL, Q.C., PRP is a Professor Emeritus of Law at the University of Calgary. He taught in the area of legislation, regulation, and subordinate instruments (by-laws) for nearly 30 years, and currently teaches Law 599 – Business Meetings Procedures (Robert’s Rules and the Standard Code). He is also a business consultant and in that capacity, provides training and strategic planning assistance to various private sector businesses in Western Canada. Pat has multiple experience (charitable, non-profit, public sector, university) as a chair and presiding officer, highly developed teaching skills, and over ten years’ service as head (chair) of a public sector quasi-judicial agency. He is an expert on “meetings law” and has trained hundreds of directors on strategic and proactive approaches for successful directors’ meetings.
