Julie has been actively involved in 11 asset management projects in New Brunswick and has great experience understanding the requirements of the province in asset management planning. She has taken training in asset management.
Julie is a professional engineer with a Master in Applied Sciences (M.A.Sc.) focusing on water treatment technologies, asset management and experience in Indigenous consultation, project management, and contract administration. She specifically develops innovative solutions to First Nation challenges related to housing and water and wastewater management. She has helped compile and produce several tender packages on behalf of municipal and First Nations clients, including the coordination of drawings and specifications between several disciplines. In 2016, Julie completed a climate change vulnerability assessment for infrastructure components within a First Nations community using a proprietary tool applied for the first time at a community scale. This project also included the development of an adaptation plan that incorporated traditional practices. Julie is the project manager on the Grand BayWestfield asset management project.
