In 2014 the first international standards in Asset Management – ISO 55000/1/2 were published.  Since then many organizations have used these standards to inform their asset management programs or prove their practices through certification against ISO 55001.  Canada was a leading nation in the development of these standards and through our ISO TC 251 Mirror Committee has continued to contribute to the improvement and development of new standards.  This presentation will explain the ISO suite of asset management standards and provide an update on the status of ISO 55002, and the soon to be released ISO 55010 (Guidance on the Alignment of Asset Management, Finance, and Accounting) and ISO 55011 (Guidance for Public Policy Makers).
