Keith Jones is General Manager and CFO of Rowland Farms, one of Canada’s largest industrial hemp growers, and producer of a wide variety of cereal grains, ancient grains, oilseeds and pulses. In addition to its dryland and irrigated farming operations, this family farm also operates four primary processing facilities in Southern Alberta. Rowland Farms focuses on providing 99.9% clean, high value, differentiated crops directly to food manufacturers, and with two partners recently announced Protein Industries Canada’s first project investment. Keith serves as Vice-President of Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance, and chairs the CHTA’s Government Relations committee. Keith was recently appointed industry co-chair of Agriculture and AgriFood Canada’s Special Crops Value Chain Roundtable.

With his business experience in finance, oil and gas, manufacturing, forest products and agricultural industries both in Canada and overseas, Keith brings a unique perspective to the CHTA. Keith holds a B.Sc. Agriculture from the U of A and an MBA in International Business from UBC. His family has farmed continuously near Calgary since 1903, where he farmed with his brother Allen from 1984 to 1992.
