Ryan Darnell started his career at Deutsche Bank where he spent 6 years and eventually co-ran the Agricultural & Biofuels Derivatives trading desk. He left to start the Ag & Biofuels trading business at TrailStone, a Riverstone backed private equity group where he evaluated acquisitions and managed trading around physical assets including grain elevators, oil refineries, and crude storage tanks. Ryan left in 2016 to found his own firm, RBD Capital, before he elected to join the management team for FCStone Merchant Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of INTLFCStone. At FMS, he runs the Strategic Initiatives group, which includes our M+ Managed Bushel Pricing Programs in addition to various projects ranging from technology development to motor fuel rack marketing.
