Since joining Alltech in 2013 my main focus has been improving poultry health and performance and ultimately business profitability, while minimising antibiotic usage.

Within a career spanning over 26 years, I have worked across many areas of the poultry sector progressing from practical roles on rearing and breeding units, to farm management, to senior roles in hatchery, poultry chick sales and broilers. Utilising my experience, knowledge and understanding of the industry, I am currently positioned as Technical Manager for Alltech UK & Ireland working with the supply chain to deliver supportive solutions to producers.

My core mission within this role has been the development and delivery of our Antibiotic Reduction Programme, tackling antimicrobial resistance through advanced nutritional technologies that are proven to support gut health and immune status.

Additionally, I have played a key role in research and development; utilising extensive knowledge throughout all tiers of the supply chain, to help develop research angles and providing valuable supporting information.
