He grew up in his grandfathers’ mix farming business including dairy sheep, layer and broiler farm near by Gallipoli in Turkey. Graduated from University of Istanbul and Turkish Army Veterinary College as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) served as a Veterinarian Lieutenant in Horse & Dog Regiments. After returning to civil life, He trained on poultry breeder health, management and artificial insemination in Israeli breeding companies Efrat and Ramit. Following these trainings, He joined to Banvit BRF, the biggest poultry integrator in Turkey as a field veterinarian. Later, he moved to Australia and joined Red Lea Chicken and worked in various technical management roles. In Red Lea, he set up free range-antibiotic free broiler production. After 12 years of production and management experience, he joined Alltech as Poultry Species Leader for Asia Pacific region. After 3 years in Alltech he moved to New Zealand to join Bromley Park Hatchery Group to managed Cobb and Shaver pure line breeder operations including GGP/GP and PS farms, 3 hatcheries as well as Quarantine Facility. In his time Bromley Park Group doubled the size of PS operation and build a brand-new commercial hatchery. After 4 years in Nz family decided to come back to Sydney and he took Chief Operation Officer role in Game Farm Pty, which is biggest quail, spatchcock and corn-fed chicken producers in Australia. Recently moved to Brisbane due to his wifes new role in Universtiy Queensland and started his own consultancy.
He is currently writing his PhD thesis on gut health in antibiotic free production system under Dr Peter Groves supervision within University of Sydney, Poultry Research Foundation.
