Dr. Gigi Lin received her BSc in Agroecology from the University of British Columbia in 2013 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2017. Gigi is also a Diplomate in the American College of Poultry Veterinarians. She began her poultry career with Canadian Poultry Consultants Ltd., where she provided diagnostic, consultation, research, and field services to all levels of the poultry industry in Western Canada.

Gigi has a particular interest in disease outbreak investigation, animal welfare, and client education. In the upcoming fall, Gigi will be joining the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food, where she will continue to collaborate closely with the poultry industry.
