Mohammad Afrouziyeh is a PhD student at the University of Alberta. He is originally from Iran and moved to Canada with his wife and son in 2017. Looking at his poultry industry perspective, Mohammad has been serving the animal feed industry through his extensive experience in feed formulation as an animal nutritionist over the past ten years. In addition, he was a university lecturer teaching poultry nutrition at the Tabriz Azad University. Mohammad is a member of Alberta Academic Reviewers, reviewing scientific manuscripts, and he is the graduate representative member of the Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC). Mohammad has received over 8 competitive scholarships and awards so far. Alberta Innovates Graduate Student Scholarship is the most prestigious and recent scholarship that he received from Alberta Innovates in 2020.
