Hugh is a condominium lawyer with Willis Law in Edmonton. He is a past recipient of a Distinguished Service Award from the Canadian Condominium Institute National for his volunteer efforts and is a frequent speaker on condominium issues for organizations in Alberta.

Hugh take particular pride in volunteer efforts on behalf of the condominium industry in stakeholder discussions with the Government of Alberta on issues including changes to the Condominium Property Act, New Home Warranty legislation, Human Rights legislation and other aspects affecting condominium. He is also a mentor for the Law Society of Alberta for lawyers with condominium law questions.

Most recently Hugh was again selected by his peers to be included in the 2026 Best Lawyer magazine for the area of corporate and commercial litigation, marking the 6th consecutive year being recognized.

He is also President of his condominium corporation Board in the Edmonton area.
